Freeport's Krape Park offers year-round recreational activities. The area encompasses a mini-golf course, an 18-hole disc golf course, several tennis courts, a baseball diamond and a nature trail. There is also an old-fashioned carousel ready to give rides to children and paddle boats available to rent to float on the pond. In the winter, this pond is converted into an skating rink and the trails open for cross-country skiing and sledding.
